Browser Compatibility/Requirements

One of challenges of an Internet-based product providing secure payments is to make it work on the various brands and versions of browsers that are used by web site visitors. In order to ensure accurate processing of the input forms, the following browsers are supported by Auctionpay Online Payments:

• Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher on Windows (XP, 2000, or ME)
• Netscape 7.2 on Windows and Mac
• Firefox 1.0.1 on Windows and Mac.

The following browsers will work in general but have issues with complex forms:

• Netscape 7.1 on Windows XP
• Safari on Mac
• Internet Explorer on Mac
• Netscape and Firefox on Linux and UNIX.

Other browsers are not recommended for use. If your web site visitors are using an unsupported browser and have problems filling out the forms, we recommend that they upgrade to a supported browser if possible.
